Once I met up with my family and got settled in the hotel room, the first thing we did was to trek out to see some national monuments, and naturally the first thing we went to see was the White House. Impressive, isn’t it? The one difference this time from our last trip is that we didn’t see any soldiers on the rooftops with rifles.
